Gay finds joy in family, travel, singing, theater, children’s gardens and really good read-aloud books… especially about animals! Reading to her kids was a highlight of every day as they grew up, and she spent many happy hours making up stories for her children as well. The focus of Gay’s career (outside of reading to kids and writing children’s books) is creating partnerships to promote effective health sciences research, which often involves innovative communication! She loves being a life-long learner wherever she is, including Florida, Michigan, New York, Wisconsin and many other wonderful places.
